Valuable Exchange with Shandong Delegation
Very honoured to receive the Shandong government and business delegation led by Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province. The delegation consists of 6 government officials and 17 top tier Shandong businesses from various industries. The roundtable exchange gave a good insightful scan of the business landscape in Shandong, Singapore and ASEAN, the challenges and opportunities for the businesses, the opportunities for Chinese enterprises in ASEAN, the collaboration between Chinese companies with Singapore and ASEAN enterprises. The businesses also shared their concern, needs and experiences. The exchange ended on high note with the exchange of the token.
2024 Singapore-China Industrial and Commercial Collaboration Seminar
Delighted to join and support the annual Singapore-China Industrial and Commercial Collaboration Seminar organised by China Enterprise Association, SingCham, SingCham Alumni Association and CAAC. We are delighted to be one of the supporting organisations for the annual conference that have attracted a full hall of government, industry and business leaders. We had given our experience and insights for Chinese enterprises venturing overseas, the collaboration trend towards ASEAN market and how international agreements like RCEP and DEPA play a favourable part in the venture.
Entering into MOU with Brunei’s NCCIBD
The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam (NCCIBD) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s DEPA International Centre and APAC Innovation and Collaboration Centre (AICC) at the NCCIBD auditorium.
The signing signifies a milestone collaboration in which NCCIBD will leverage the international network and resource by DEPA IC and AICC and help the Brunei companies to internationalise, innovate, immerse and transform through digitalisation.
The signing willcollaborate on global entrepreneurship to prepare Brunei entrepreneurs to set their eyes on international markets while innovating for their breakthroughs. We are deeply honoured to have this opportunity to create values for Brunei companies who are NCCIBD members and entrepreneurs under the Young Entrepreneurs Association.
Environmental Immersive Trip
AICC has been in active industry discussion and facilitation in the Asia Pacific.
Recently, with the support of DEPA International Centre, AICC has arranged an immersive trip and in-depth in market discussion for The National Environment Agency and Singapore companies together with the counterpart District Government and their companies.
There were intensivevisits and in-depth industry discussion on environmental technology, business models, PPP models, pain points for waste management and future trends for the industry. The visits and discussion has been fruitful and rewarding.
Asia Summit 2024
Joined in the annual Asia Summit 2024 this year that attracted strong attendance by the international government, business and organisation leaders.
The Summit covered wide range of topics ranging from global and Asian outlook, latest industrial trends, Sixth Industrial Revolution by AI, Fireside Chats with Singapore Minister Ong Ye Kung and Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong also graced the second day of the event.
Also participated in the roundtable discussion on Women and Health. Look forward to our participation at the Summit next year.
ASEAN Conference 2024
ASEAN Conference is an annual flagship event being held in Singapore, organised by SBF, UOB, Rajah & Tann Asia as well as RSM.
The event attracted strong attendance from ASEAN and Singapore business leaders. This year, the Conference was graced by DPM Gan Kim Yong and ASEAN government leaders. We participated in the afternoon session with sideline meetings with ASEAN promotion agencies and companies.
It was rewarding and fruitful with exposure to latest ASEAN development.
Joined in Bloomberg’s Spotlight on ASEAN
Participated in the “Spotlight on ASEAN Businesses: Charting New Frontiers” by Bloomberg in Singapore in September 2024.
The programme was well-planned out with in depth discussion on the hot topic issues in ASEAN, including but not limited to the impact by the emerging technologies, the emergence of DEFA, the Singapore-Malaysia SEZ, ASEAN’s digital unity of trust with security framework, policy incentives to leapfrog ASEAN, sustainable future and inclusive economic growth opportunities.
All the panels are insightful and inject interesting diverse perspectives.
Exchange and Meeting with the Iskanda Malaysia
Visited Iskanda Malaysia and had a good exchange together with the companies who are interested to explore ASEAN market.
A detailed discussion on the policies, incentives, the possible opportunities for product expansion beyond Iskanda and latest economic development in Malaysia had been outlined.
It was a fruitful visit with deep exchange touching of wide ranging issues and exploring possible areas for industries to develop.
Salute to Meinhardt’s 50 Anniversary
Honoured to have the chance to witness Meinhardt’s 50 Anniversary Celebration and their hardwork all these years towards excellence.
Meinhardt is a very good story to showcase how a Singapore company has dedicated its efforts tirelessly towards transformation, progress, innovation and global excellence.
Bagging lots of accolades with them, the strong crowd of audience gave Meinhardt unanimous claps to acknowledge their excellence and their well-deserved 50th years celebration of hard work. Everyone looks forward to their next 50 years of excellence ahead of them.
Supporting the TechLaw Fest 2024
TechLaw Fest 2024 is the flagship annual event organised by Singapore Academy of Law in Singapore.
In a consecutive two years, DEPA International Centre and APAC Innovation and Collaboration Centre have been supporting organisation to this flagship event with which this year’s event attracted a record crowd of 900 over people from Singapore and overseas.
A robust line up well-planned programme, exciting perspectives from speakers, tech talks, networking opportunities and innovative display of technologies for legal application. We can see the growth of the annual event every year.
Partnering for the Inaugural APAC Innovation and Development Forum in Singapore
First time as partner organiser for the Inaugural APAC Innovation and Development Forum in Singapore in June 2024 at Sentosa.
A full day forum sharing insights on latest innovation and development across industry disciplines.
MOU was signed to continue the support and expand the collaboration.
Awards were given out to the promising organisations.
Exchange During the Singapore EnviroWeek 2024
AICC and its customers participated in the Singapore EnviroWeek 2024, an annual event with both Clean Enviro Summit Singapore and Singapore Water Week this year.
Best enrio tech and green tech companies in the region participated in the forum and the exhibition.
The companies that we brought in were very glad to havea lot of exchanges and discussion during their stay in Singapore.
The National Environment Agency and our Singapore companies had a fruitful exchange with the companies.
Participated in ATX Summit 2024
Participated in the ATX Summit 2024 in Singapore in which it is an annual regional infocomm event organsied by IMDA Singapore.
Great insights being shared on the latest infocomm landscape and the impact of emerging technologies.
DPM Heng Swee Keat graced the event whereas the various Singapore Ministers actively participated in the various panel discussion.
Different government and business leaders gave their diverse and insightful perspectives on the latest challenges and emerging opportunities related to global technological development.
Participated in Singapore-China Business Forum
Participated in the Singapore-China Business Forum 2024 in Singapore that has attracted a full hall’s attendance.
Speakers from Singapore and China gathered together to share their latest perspectives of businesses’ sentiment, global dynamic challenges, emerging opportunities and effective means to navigate the meandering pathways to next phase of development.
Round-Table Exchange with Anhui Wuhu
Together with WIS Holdings, AICC is very glad to have the opportunity to host the Anhui Wuhu delegation led by the Deputy Party Secretary and its officials.
A total of over 30 companies attended the roundtable discussion to exchange perspectives and explore possible business or collaboration opportunities.
Anhui Wuhu officials presented the industrial landscape and business opportunities. The roundtable ended with group photo and networking opportunities.
World City Summit 2024
We participated in the World City Summit 2024 which witnessed the launch of the City Network for the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize to facilitate greater knowledge exchange on building liveable and sustainable cities.
Minister for National Development Desmond Lee was the Guest-of-Honour. The Summit was well attended by international audiences including governors, mayors, city planning departments and knowledge organisations.
We are glad to participate and learn the latest urban development globally.
Chongqing Exchange and Life Science Promotional Seminar
Had the honour to attend the Chongqing China Life Science City and Hub Port Industrial Park Promotion Event in which our Senior Minister of State Ministry of National Development Ministry of Communications and Information Mr Tan Kiat How, Chongqing and Chongqing Mayor Hu Henghua.
Chinese Ambassador in Singapore has also delivered a speech and the event was well attended by strong crowd of audience. The event was followed by MOU signing and group photo.
After the event, also participated in a series of company exchanges organised by A*STAR and SG Tech so that we had a chance to communicate and interact with different organisations and companies.
Boston Connect Worldwide
We are glad to attend the Boston Connect Worldwide in Singapore where all the generations of family businesses, the corporate leaders, the Boston alumni worldwide, the think-tanks and partners would gather and reconnect as an unified community.
We are glad to be connected and have a strong connection with Boston Connect alumni and network, whereas we can feel the spirit and strong sense of kinship and family togetherness.
Deepen Collaboration by Signing MOU with Beijing E-Town
With the MOU signed with Beijing E-Town, DEPA International Centre will have its private platform APAC Innovation and Collaboration Centre to work closely with Beijing E-Town to explore closer collaboration.
The collaboration will be multi-faceted that will harness AICC’s capabilities to help companies internationalize, digitalise and innovate with technology transfer, training and connecting with international framework and standard.
Series of exchanges also helped to push the collaboration further ahead.
China-Singapore International Digital Cooperation
DEPA International Centre participated in the signing of the China-Singapore International Digital Cooperation in which AICC will also follow up with the implementation of the pilot cross border project.
The MOU was signed with in Chongqing with two partners in Chongqing and Beijing respectively.
The signing signals a big step forward ahead in leveraging digital possibilities.
Hainan Metaverse Conference
We were glad to be speaker to speak at the Hainan Metaverse Conference to share our global perspectives with the audience and industry players.
A dialogue session was conducted with the Universities and professors who are experts in digital arena and Web3.
The discussion and exchange was very fruitful in widening perspective and deepen the collaboration.
